The Band Committee regularly communicates with parents to keep them up to date with upcoming events, performances and any changes to schedules. Our main method of communication is via email. For this reason it is extremely important that we have up to date email addresses that are checked regularly. All email addresses are kept confidential. If email is not an option for you, please contact the Band Secretary to make other arrangements.
We also place items in the 'Band News' section of the school newsletter and publish the 'Band News' newsletter each fortnight, but please remember to check email, particularly before any band event as our "Event Reminder" emails will provide the most up to date information concerning that event.
Band meetings are a forum where you can make comments or suggestions and all parents are encouraged to attend. Dates of meetings are in this handbook and advertised in the newsletter. They are usually held the 2nd Monday of each month (during the school term) @ 7:00 pm in the WHPS teachers' staff room. Feel free to come along.
